Our Proud History

At the close of World War II in 1945, two former shipyard employees opened Delta Rubber in Stockton, California. An employee owned company from the start, Delta Rubber grew through the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s, opening branches in Modesto, Salinas, Sacramento, and expanding into Nevada with locations in Sparks and Elko. In the ‘90s, the company changed ownership, but remained in the hands of employees, and never sold out to a large conglomerate. Maintaining independence and employee ownership throughout the age of industry consolidation has made it possible for Delta Rubber to offer its customers superior service and provide its employees an enjoyable place to make a career. Employees at Delta Rubber care about their company and its customers, just as they did 60 years ago.
